Basic C4D Tutorial Part 1
Well its complete, the basic c4d tutorial part 1, now don't give me all the credit, I learned from the some members on deviantart. I just wanted to setup a tutorial so people on this site can hopefully do more lps, if you have c4d at least...also hopefully this explains better though! Anyway enjoy!

to shoes: Nice c4d and colors, but the bg is too dark and the weird overlaying light effects are too random.

@shoes: I am so glad that this tutorial is helpful man. From what I see from the outcome you done well. Your outcome is very nice just make sure though you have a really good hdri maps or else the c4d may look hideous, i see a bit of blemishes on your c4d but yet it looks good and its great to see my tutorial really helped out, thanx for using my tut man

Great tut always wanted to learn how to do C4d's
I know how to do c4d's and everything, but my main issue is the colouring. I did it, it was fully coloured but when I rendered the piece, it was only black and white (as if it had rendered the back instead of the front).
any ideas? :/

something must be wrong with the material your usin, if want to learn how to colour check my part 2 of the tut or you can check ice's hdri map tut it shows how to do colouring

I'm having 2 problems,
-That Null Object, when you made that, my c4d won't change color.
-I'm having problems saving it, could u explain that?

Yep this is the first thing I have designed in c4d. I was getting a little frustrated trying to figure it out myself it's not anything like any other software I have ever used. But this tutorial has gone a long way twoards helping me get the hang of c4d. Thanks a bundle.
